Winter 2006 Newsletter |
Greetings one & all! Welcome to the PMYC's What's Happening in 2006 Newsletter. As we plan events for the upcoming year, it becomes evident that the participation of our members will be the determining factor for the success of any and all events. Please plan to join in whenever and however you can. Summer is short, so we might as well make the most of it!
PMYC member and former Commodore, Wally Lundahl, passed away last summer. Wally and his wife Marie were very active in club activities and were avid sailors. Wally had quite an influence on the club, helping to shape the by-laws and providing good counsel to the members.
Donate your old sails and save a Newfoundland!Launched in 2003, The Safe Haven Newfoundland Dog Rescue Project accepts donations of your used sails. The sail material is used to make sailing accessories such as duffels and tote bags. The revenues go to support abandoned Newfoundland dogs. If you would like to donate your old sails, contact Safe Haven in Woolwich, Maine at 985-6134.
We've made it easy for members to print listings all of upcoming events, just click on latest schedule. It will be updated as new information becomes available.
